Chief Financial Officer
Dan MacLachlan has served as Chief Financial Officer of red violet since its formation in August 2017 and continuing through its March 2018 spin-off from information and digital performance marketing solutions provider, cogint. Mr. MacLachlan served as Chief Financial Officer of cogint prior to the spin-off of red violet. Mr. MacLachlan brings over a decade of experience as the chief financial officer of data-driven technology companies. Mr. MacLachlan served in the roles of Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at TransUnion after it acquired substantially all of the assets of TLO, an information solutions provider, in December 2013. Mr. MacLachlan was the Chief Financial Officer of TLO since its inception. Prior to TLO, Mr. MacLachlan served as the Chief Financial Officer of JARI Research Corporation, a partnership with the Mayo Clinic advancing proprietary cancer therapeutic technologies using targeted radioactive therapy. Prior to JARI, Mr. MacLachlan was a Special Agent in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), specializing in the criminal investigation of public corruption and civil rights violations, including government fraud, election fraud, foreign corrupt practices, hate crimes and human trafficking. Mr. MacLachlan holds a B.S. in Business and Finance from Nova Southeastern University, a B.B.A. in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University.
